The first step toward a great-tasting cup of coffee is in the land. Our farmers grow their crop in the fertile soils of ideal coffee climates. It’s here that our coffee beans begin developing their distinct character and high quality.
Money doesn’t grow on trees, but did you know coffee does? The beans live inside the cherry that grows on the coffee tree. It doesn’t all ripen at once, which means it takes a farmer’s skill and time to carefully comb the fields and harvest only the ripe coffee cherry. After harvest, farmers take just as much care to process the coffee, getting down to the bean that we then roast.
